We are taking our nation back to the times where interracial marriage was illegal. This is a huge deal and I fucking hate the fact that majority of the church is backing this. Organized ideology is the dead end of our society and this will continue to grow in their egotistical closed minded lives. They say don't force your gay marriage on us or our children. This is clearly not the case. This doesn't affect anyones lives or personal well being. Children will be exposed to gay people. Thats life. Its as easy as a child playing a video game that involves killing someone. Does that mean they are going to become murderers? They will know that death is real and that there are murderers in the real world. Whats worse? Gay people are not the problem. Love is love regardless of sex. And this whole time I thought Jesus's love was unconditional? This could be true if I were religious, and if I was, I would be ashamed due to the fact that "God" should be the one to judge. Trust me, you're not doing the work of jesus when you tell someone its wrong to be gay and have women marry women vice versa.
